Activity Clubs
SIFDT gives opportunities to the students to develop their skills and abilities through various clubs. A student may join one or more clubs as per her interest and passion.
Haute Couture (The Design Club)
Haute couture, a French term meaning "high sewing" or "high dressmaking," representing the epitome of fashion design and craftsmanship. The club encourages students to do design innovation, by organizing various workshops, training session and contest to help them expand their designing caliber horizon
Entrepreneur (The Tycoon Club)
The club gives students an opportunity to innovate and think out of the box and come up with unconventional and conventional business ideas pertaining to the field of fashion design and related fields. Students make business projects and present them to the industry professionals, to hone their project management skills.
Velvet (The Serenades)
Velvet, one of the softest cloth is the inspiration for the club to bring out soft musical and performing arts and dancing skills of the students. The club organizes various fun events and activities.
Panorama (The Shutterbug Club)
Panorama, the shutterbug club, trains and develops Photographers from the Fashion Designers, a skill which comes in handy in their career. A student is free to use their cellphone, compact or professional DSLR camera and refine her photography skills.
